Raspberry Bliss Balls
Good Day Steemians,
If you have seen some of my previous posts, you might have noticed that favorite snacks of mine are bliss balls. Main reasons for that, they're super quick and easy to make (no baking required), contain only a few ingredients (as little as 3!), leftovers can be frozen for later on and, oh yes!, they are a healthier alternative to many, many other sweet snacks so you can indulge guilt free :).
So here comes another one for you to try out.
Time: 15 min (+ fridge set) | Servings: 12 balls
Ingredients:
*1 cup rolled oats
*1 cup frozen raspberries
*1/3 cup desiccated coconut (extra for rolling)
*1 tablespoon peanut butter
*1 teaspoon honey / rice malt syrup
Instructions:
- Mix all ingredients in a food processor until well combined
- Roll into balls and dust with extra coconut if desired
- Place in an airtight container
- Put in the fridge or freezer to set
One thing to remember with bliss balls is that if the mixture is a bit wet or sticky, you can simply put it in the freezer for about 5 minutes and then roll them into balls.
Also, a little tip from me to safe even a few more minutes, is to place some of the desiccated coconut (or other rolling mixture you're using) on the bottom of a container, place all the balls in it leaving a bit of space in between, sprinkle more of the coconut on top and then gently shake the container.
Hope you enjoy!
