‘Mango is the king of fruits’ is true. You also know this, but you will know much more about how this is true. Fruits which are pulpy, people eat them with relish. Having this property, people eat it as a favorite, I also, and I think you too. As it has a relish for eating, similarly, it has relished benefits for health. When it does not ripen, it looks “green’’. Its ripen form can have yellow, red, and orange colors. Mostly it has yellow color after ripening. There are many types of mangoes all around the world some of them I am mentioning here:
Chaunsa, Kesar, Manilla, Palmer, Alphonse, Sindhri, Edward, Tommy Atkins, Kent, etc.
Calories in mango:

It helps in macrophages activity means promotes immunity. Mango contains vitamin C and A that helps to produce collagen proteins which in turn protects the connective tissues of our body. In this way, it helps in the anti-aging process.
Contains Iron:
Mangoes are rich in iron hence suggested for anemia treatment and beneficial during pregnancy of women and menstruation also.
Improve Eyesight:
As we know that vitamin A is essential for our sight. Mango contains beta carotene. Beta carotene is necessary for the production of vitamin A, thus improving eyesight. Routine eating of mango prevents night blindness (an eye disease). Some antioxidants of mango help to delay age-related vision loss.
Relief from Constipation:
Constipation is a disease in which the body absorbs more water from the food we eat, resulting in the hardening of which is to be eliminated from the body through the excretory system. Mango contains fibers, water, vitamins that help in the regularity of the digestive tract. Constipation is such a disease that gives rise to other many diseases like piles etc. In this way, it is preventing from many other diseases. It also contains some enzymes that help the healthy digestion of food.
African Mango; a special type
I have mentioned above the mango special type “African Mango”, improves a person’s physical health. The African Mango (Irvingia gabonese) grows in the rainforests of Africa. These are inside the western seaside of Africa. It helps against the high levels of cholesterol in the body thus helping against obesity. It also helps to lower the risk of heart diseases. As African Mango increases metabolism thus helping in the reduction of fat levels. It also regulates our cholesterol and blood pressure.
African Mango seed extract helps in weight loss:
A special quality of African Mango is that its seed has many benefits that are known as “dika”. This seed extract helps decrease your hunger and also delays digestion. Leptin controls the body’s urge to eat. It controls its amount. Thus controlling your hunger and leading to less eat. In this way, it helps in the control of body weight. It helps to lose weight in the belly region also. It decreases LDL cholesterol and sugar levels in the blood.
Mango juice reduces cancers:
Mango juice is more delicious than raw mango and there is more urge to eat it. Having rich in vitamins and minerals, it keeps our heart healthy and decreases the cancer risk. Mango juice has fewer calories than raw one. So it is cautious for dieters not to take it much. Mango juice contains beta carotene is known to be protecting power against different cancers. Mango contains a compound lapel, which helps in the fight against cancers. It is also known to have anti-inflammatory, anti-arthritic properties.
Overeating is harmful:
Peel of mangoes causes allergy the allergic reaction is not so harmful, but the anaphylactic shock may occur sometimes that is dangerous. It is an allergic reaction that can cause nausea, vomiting, shock, and unconsciousness if not treated on time. Mangoes are full of sugar naturally so overeating can result in weight gain. Weight gain you know, I mean obesity, leads to many other diseases. Eating too many mangoes is only going to increase your waistline, so to maintain a good physique you have to stop overeating mangoes.
Artificial ripening of mangoes is also harmful:
Artificial ripening is common in developing countries used by farmers and sellers for gaining of good price early in the season. Ripening agents such as calcium carbide, banned in many countries, are used for artificial ripening of mangoes and other fruits that cause too many harms to our golden health.
Conclusion:
We know that natural things have benefits for health. Fruits, vegetables have important nutrients and minerals essential for health. Mango has many of these as I discussed. Proper and routine eating of anything gives benefits properly.
Eating too much Mango causes the night sleepless and diarrhea but with African Mango, this is not. Mango has fibers, eating too much can cause gastric distres.
Therefore too much mango are not eaten but must be eaten to get the benefits from it and from everything that is natural that the artificial lacks and cannot give us the artificial one.
