What I had for Lunch

It's no new thing that most persons due to time constraints often skip breakfast but they always find a way to balance it up eating in the early hours of the afternoon.
Today was one of those days for me because I had to rush out in other to meet up with work.
This afternoon I had a simple meal,
Fried plantains with fried egg.
This is a popular meal in most Nigerian homes.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

  1. Ripe plantain
  2. Egg
  3. A pinch of salt
  4. Butter or vegetable oil
  5. Pepper (optional)
  6. Seasoning of choice
  7. Onion/ fresh tomatoes.
    STEPS FOR PREPARATION OF THE PLANTAIN
  8. Wash and peel your ripe plantain.
  9. Slice the plantain to desired shape.
  10. Set your pan on fire and add your vegetable oil allow to heat on low heat for about 1min.
  11. Add your plantain to the heating oil allow until golden brown and flip to the other side.
  12. Remove with a spoon and Drain on a paper towel.
    STEPS FOR PREPARATION OF THE EGG
  13. Break and beat your eggs.
  14. Add you pan on fire at low heat
  15. Oil the pan
  16. Add tomato/ Onion
  17. Add a pinch of salt
  18. Pour in the egg
  19. Allow to fry for a Minute
  20. Stir and serve.
