Prawns Vindaloo (Goan curry)

This is one of my personal favourites and it is native to the Goan people in India.

The curry is slightly sour and spicy at the same time with a hint of coconut aftertaste. The prawns(shrimps) are apparently boiled in the curry so that the taste seeps into it. It can be eaten with rice or rotis with the mango pickle at the side.

This picture was taken at Ciaran's at Palolem beach in Goa.
