Russia 0-1 Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo scores the crucial winner against the host nation

Portugal secured a 1-0 victory over Russia in Group A of the Confederations Cup, at Otkrytiye Arena Stadium, Moskva, Wednesday (21/06/2017).

Positive results make Portugal ranked first with a collection of four points in the standings. They are one point ahead of Russia in second place.

Cristiano Ronaldo led Portugal ahead when the game has been running for nine minutes. Receiving a cross from Raphael Guerreiro, Ronaldo welcomed his header and broke into a Russian goalkeeper who escorted Igor Akinfeev.
