Thirsty Football Cup

Cebu is so far but we still traveled it not minding the strong waves from the sea that causes us headaches. All we brought is only the skills that God had given us and the moral support and prayers from our parents and friends from Iligan. Honestly, we are very frightened knowing and seeing our opponents are from national team and others are "Palarong Pambansa" qualifiers. Our heart beats so fast when we heard the first whistle of the referee. It was a close match. We scored the first goal. It became very crucial when the opponent scored a goal too. Fortunately, in the two minutes remaining time our striker scored a winning goal. After all, the last whistle of the referee made us jumped and shouted "We made it, thank you Lord!". That was the time that I realized that determination and hard work can make the team champion.!
