LANDMARKS FOR ARSENAL
It seems that Arsenal Football Club has shoved off their poor form recently with two conservative wins and clean sheets in all competitions.
Their 3:0 defeat to Watford on Sunday 10th March, 2018, saw Petr Cech keeping his 200th clean sheet in the Premier League, the first goal keeper to achieve this feat in the competition's history. What makes it more interesting is that he saved a penalty in the process. The penalty was the 16th he has faced in all competitions for Arsenal and the first he has saved.
The game saw Arsene Wenger achieve his 700th win in 1,222nd games as an Arsenal manager.
Shkodran Mustafi's goal against Watford was Arsenal's 1000th at home in the Premier League. This made the Gunners the second team to reach this landmark after Manchester United who have scored 1,066 times.
Mesut Ozil became the fastest player to reach 50 Premier League assists, doing so in just 141 games and beating the record held by Former Manchester United forward, Eric Cantona in 143 games.
