Leeds owner gave club’s jersey as gift to Pope Francis
Andrea Radrizzani, the owner of Championship side Leeds United, proudly reported that he donated club’s strip to the Vatican leader Pope Francis. Italian-born businessman took the picture of the moment during his visit to homeland. The jersey has No.1 and Francesco sign on the back. Pope seems to enjoy the gift.
- Argentina-born Pope Francis is well known San Lorenzo supporter
- The head coach of Leeds United is also Argentinian. Marcelo Bielsa’s side is sharing the Championship top spot with M’boro after 6 games with 14 points in the pocket
Wow ,his holiness with Leeds jersey ,that is good and the owner will be happy and I know his holiness will be happy too.
I'm backing Leeds for promotion to the Premier League
Same here, man, they deserve it after all these years
