Today is the first Good Friday since 1927 that alcohol has been sold legally in Ireland. The 90 year ban has been lifted and no longer will hordes of thirsty tourists wander the city, incredulous that in Ireland of all places, there's not a drop of alcohol to be had.
Ah, that's so interesting! Never would have expected that of Ireland.
