Truth is, a lot of people still don't know what the libertarian party is all about - some clearly don't even know it exists. Selfless, passionate libertarians (I dare say like yourself) need to take the message out there more. People will vote for alternatives if presented to them
You're right, for a long time I didn't know that there was another party outside of the partyarchy of Republicans and Democrats. I don't vote now, but if I had known years ago when I reached the age to vote, I don't think I would have voted for that candidate. People are still stuck in the mentality of "the lesser of the two evils" when there are other options available to them. I hope that the future generations are knowledgeable enough to see that, and one way of ensuring they are is that we speak out about alternatives - otherwise how will they know?
