Prompt of the day “Museum” - SteeMuseum?
Can you imagine the day when Steem is part of a historical display in a museum?
Where will society have evolved to by then?
Will we be living in a decentralized world?
SteeMuseum, could we have a blockchain museum on Steem?
I am full of more questions than answers, let’s run this thought out!
Yes, I can imagine the day when Steem is behind us but not because it failed. Rather because it was triumphant, everything in our museums has had an impact on the future. Stepping stones to where we are now, simple ideas evolve over time into great ones.
For that future to happen society would need to have fully embraced blockchain technology, possibly overthrow the power controls of the world. People think chaos but no great change comes without a price, society would naturally rebuild itself. I believe the understanding of freedom would be a greater priority on the next evolution of said society.
If we fully embraced that idea of freedom the world would embrace decentralization as a form of sustainability without creating power struggles once again. Those that work the system would be rewarded while those whom don’t are left behind. A system where you must give back to receive thus all those with grand ideas pull the rest of us along instead of widening the power and control gaps.
By this point I would imagine a digital museum could be possible, virtual reality. Stick on a head set and walk yourself from the beginning to the end of where each online project started and discover what ideas and developments evolved to serve the greater purpose, SteeMuseum.
I think this thought experiment implies Steem will survive but still hold the potential to be apart of the blockchain story even after it has evolved past what we know of it today!
