Lost the Direction - Poetry

Only I can judge how far I've come.

A little farther now, ohhh!

Like I am chasing gold.

I will never quit.

I want to keep going.

Running like there is no tomorrow,

chasing those nights where I can sleep without fear.

But something is clearly wrong.

I'm only halfway there.

More and more lost, but I know,

I'll find my way.

Find my way, someday, someday.

So I just keep on running

running alone,

breathing in the quiet

and you, I can't hold it in.
