Handcream / Freewrite Daily
Think about handcream, I think about love❤️. Thoughtfulness. Caring people.
You see, ever since I spent 4 months at hospital, I had my skin's outer later jeapordised. Being encouraged by doctors and nurses to wash hands daily everytime you walked out and entered the ward, I literally washed my hands too clean till the layer which helped to ensure skin's moist was washed off. Gone. But it was for Jansen's sake, not to have any germs in the ward as his delicate right lung was growing. As a result, I had really dry-looking fingers and palm. I was sad for awhile but had forbeared the ugly sight of my hands. Gradually, it became ezcema-prone as well. With the outer layer gone, your skin became sensitive to detergent and fragrant, so any of in-touch would cause itchiness and even cracking skin which sometimes bleed.
My family members and friends were thoughtful and caring. Throughout the years, I had received countless hand creams from them, either for birthdays, or Mother's Day, or Christmas. Unfortunately, I could not use most of them as they caused some allergy itchiness ezcema outbreak.
I still have some of them with me. In fact, quite alot. I will show you now and you will be surprised. These was since last Christmas till today. I had given away alot too to others which they asked me not to give this year as they are still using the ones I gave them.
My collection of handcreams and lotions

Among all the above, the most bearable is the non-fragrant Horse Oil but it is most inconvenient to use, as it is really oily and smelly. I do not prefer to use it and keep on need to wash my hands in between cooking and cleaning and attending to the children.
I had tried also applying coconut oil oil and olive oil but it aggravated the itch even more.
So now, I let it be, on and off will try those handcreams and lotions to see my luck. Or I really just don't bother and give thanks for a pair of functioning hands.
