Lame (5-Minute Freewrite Challenge)

When media was sued by a government official, they acts like victims of injustice. This is currently a big topic in the country as one broadcast network was being complained by a government official for breaking the law with one of their services.

Of course, the network cried foul that they are being oppressed, and crying for press freedom. They and their allies has been accusing the government behind the case as the chief executive has been vocal about his disdain towards the network. Well, the network has been critical to the government, and they actually have a lot of faults towards the government officials.

Now, what the network is doing is painting the people behind the chief executive black. All they do is deny that they haven't broke any law, when they actually broke a lot of it. They are now conditioning the minds of the people with their lame news reports on TV. Actually, more than 50 percent of their news reports has been showing people how they loved the network, and they will be saddened if it will shut down. It's as if they are fishing for sympathy, and eventually create a revolution against the government.

It is getting tiring to see the lame narrative, and the role the media has to play in order to get the sympathy of people. The media network is said to be worried about the thousands of loss of jobs, but only a small portions of their enployees are regular. Some are just contractual. They used to be mad in their reports about contractual way of jobs when they are in fact doing such.

Some people has been fooled by allowing themselves featured on TV how much they loved the network. We don't even know if they're paid or not. It is not actually an issue of press freedom. It is an issue of the network breaking the law. There shows how the network propagate lies. Well, remember, these mainstream media are businesses which protects their brand. Of course, what they will show in their news reports should be positive in their part.
