QUARANTINE (original work)
Waking up to see scenes such places that used to be filled with joy and loud laughter but now are empty spaces where silence is loud. The streets that used to be filled with such warm lights, loud horns, and whistling traffic officers are now as quiet as midnights withouts snores. Before, the malls would open with pop songs that are fun yet annoying but now, I only hear machines beeping and boisterous noise of people that panics while buying as they wish to return home as quickly as possible. Summer has come but pools and beaches were closed. Frontliners are prohibited to get along with their respective families unlike what they used to do. Right now, the safest place in Earth is not a country, but your own room and space.
Quarantine? People were shocked but I believe that this is not a first time FOR YOU.
You, yourself, has locked up on your own even before this dangerous pandemic. Your gadgets were your own cell that isolated you from others. You already were quarantined, trained and prepared for this pandemic. I can say that gadgets should be considered as drill materials and thanks to it, staying home isn't so hard.
So don't be shocked. I know you're used to being isolated.
