Even though I see jackfruits in the market when they're in season, I have never seen it on a tree so I googled a picture. It is true!

We always wait for jackfruit to ripen before consuming it, so using it as a meat sub was surprising. Thanks for this :) and it does look like meat after cooking, a healthy alternative.
