I would gladly take any of those! All those toppers for the steamed corn sound delicious. Creamy avocado and sweet corn just go together like peanut butter and jelly. ;) I think one of my farmer buds might have one more batch of white corn coming in, so I will definitely load up if he brings some to the market!
I just love fresh young white corn as well, it does have much more flavour but has to be very young and just picked. We tried to grow it but the monkeys got to them. Hubby has started a new veggie garden and will make something to keep them out, also installing rainwater tanks to pick up roof water from the cottage. We're doing it in stages as it gets costly with filters & pumps so will do our house & then the garage last. We do have water restrictions at times so it will at least help with watering the garden in winter and topping up the pool, we get enough rain in summer!
