Tourism in my Country - Olumirin Water Falls 💦
A visit to my country isn't one of the very exciting thoughts that would pop up the mind of a non Africa except if you've beeen fed with wonderful stories of our people and culture or you are on a rescue mission. Nigeria a third world country in a third world continent, Africa, is blessed with exciting sceneries that would make you marvel. And that accounts for the numerous tourists that throng Nigeria annually.
Olumirin Water Falls
Olumirin water falls, located in Erin Ijesha, Osun State, Nigeria is a seven step water fall. A trip to this amazing site and you'd be faced with the thunderous inspiring challenge of climbing up to the seventh step. And trust me if you've never gone mountain climbing, it's tougher than you think and more intriguing and exhilarating than you can imagine.
The Features
Each step of the fall has a flowing fountain of water streaming down forcefully from tall heights. Each step has its own unique serenity that keeps you constantly in touch with nature and grips you emphatically with a continuous draw towards the flowing pool on the rocky ground. An attempt to prick my hands through the water fall on step 2, to feel the rock behind, made me whimper with pain from the heavy strokes of water that I thought won't hurt than rainfall. The rhythmic sound of the water fall is interesting to the ears and the change in the speed of water flow when you make a loud shout makes it more entertaining.
What else should I tell you about this gigantic mastery of nature? A visit would make you seek for more and more.
Thank God for nature, culture and tourism. My country is definitely a exciting country worth you visit.
There are many other attractive exciting figures of nature in Nigeria. A description of another would be reserved for a later post.
