3 - 5 hours daily so as to minimize fuel cost and environmental impact. Solar would have been awesome but it's super expensive to install one here in Cameroon
hmm... could you give me some details about what kWp and daily kWh you need?
Because Solar PV should break even vs. a petrol or diesel gen set after one or two years as the diesel is so expensive...
and the 3-5 hours are at what time of the day? is it totally of grid or you just run the gen set if the grid is down?
