Grizzly bear stole a car, crashed it and defecated inside

The animal fled, not without first destroying the entire interior of the vehicle.

It was not the best night for Ron Cornelius. Early Tuesday morning, this citizen of La Plata County had to wake up at five o'clock in the morning because a loud rumble was heard in his yard.

According to the New York Post, the man went out into the garden and someone had crashed a Subaru SUV model against his house, so he decided to call the police.

When the sheriff arrived at the scene of the crime, the spectacle was Dantesque: The thief had destroyed the whole interior of the car, broke a window, left the interior full of hairs and defecated huge amounts of excrement in the driver's seat.

That was the signature that left a grizzly bear, who did not need a few keys to move the vehicle, but simply released the parking brake, sliding down the street.

These animals, common in the forests of Colorado, have begun to burst into populated areas in search of food after hibernation, as their natural foods have been affected by the frosts this year.

According to the Durango Herald, the police department of La Plata County has received about 200 calls for bears and a total of 56 cases have been verified.
