When mainstream comics start making snide jokes about crypto, and other little references in popular culture start cropping up, it really shows where we are along the path to adoption.
It's little things that "normalize" new paradigms — lots of them added up, over time.
I guess this comes under the literary heading of "a cautionary tale."
