While onboarding is important, I think the biggest obstacle will be new users (...the non-"coming over from YouTube with 500k+ subs" type who get huge welcomes from whales kissing their asses), realizing that it's really tough to gain followers and earn rewards. So much of society wants instant results and only the determined seem to make it. I struggle to see how global adoption will happen quickly when rewards are so hard to come by without grinding away for months (even if the price rises). I seem to feel that most people will try it out and saying F this... Of all my friends and family I've begged to join, only one person still uses the site because it's not worth the time.
