Future of Work - Gonna be great. How?

in #future8 years ago (edited)

People are sickly worried about losing jobs. Especially to automation. (Mostly immigrants, some would say!)

It seems AI can do legal work, journalism, essay writing, some even wrote high school exams in Chinese universities! So, is it going to be bye bye jobs for us, humans? (I am a human, captcha my heart!).

Certainly a lot of work is going to disappear. Some work will still remain. And people will compete for those.

These will be areas where human creativity and individual human needs will require to be catered by caring and productive individuals.

So it doesn't mean a stop to income, especially for those who empathise, are creative and can still think human.

Just for example, take the innovation in sports. We have so many different types of Xtreme sports, new innovations and new products coming out everyday. These are very specific to what humans want to do, irrespective of who invented them (even a machine.)

The emergence of new products require innovation, productization and manufacturing and mainly ~customer base~!

Humans will necessarily be part of that innovation, and especially will be that customer base! The creation of new products for every individual need will be the industry of the future. Humans and machines together will enable that to happen!

Welcome to your future!
