Especially if the Dealer’s face up card was “8” and less. Actually PLAYER must to SPLIT “8 8” against absolutely all DEALRE’s hands.

That also concerning two aces “A A” on the hands. With two Aces PLAYER has 12 points and that’s very risky situation. But when PLAYER make SPLIT he will have “A” on the hand and that’s excellent! Because its almost natural Blackjack on two hands and “3 to 2” winner payment! So double “A” and double “8” PLAYER must always to SPLIT.

Let’s look on double “5” - 10 hard points. You could figure out there is already very good hand and, for example, against Dealers “trouble hands” it will be better to make double.

PLAYER already have 20 points that’s excellent and of course PLAYER must to stop. PLAYER will not receive bigger than 20 or 21 points.
