Progress on Antreya Chronicles MMORPPG Game Development

In my #introduceyourself post, which you can read here, I mentioned that I am creative writer for Antreya Chronicles, an epic fantasy MMORPG which is currently in development by Antreya Studios.

I wanted to give some feedback on our project. The first part of the game has been written in terms of the main plot as well as some essential NPCs to help the player achieve their objectives. Main quests have been highlighted, as well as some potential side quests. The three main cities for each race, namely Siopus (humans), Reyt (elves) and Minoseus (dwarves), are currently under development together with the world map.

While we were waiting for the game to be developed further, lead writer Dean Clark and I put the first part of the game into novel form. It is called The Heroes of Antreya: The Journey Begins and is available for purchase. It provides a taste of the game lore, races, factions and gods, as well as the combat and magic abilities.

The next step for us as writers is that we get to place dialogue for NPCs in the game world should a player approach any of them. Side quests will be a highlight for me, as we will get to play with so many ideas for interesting small quests. And with my experience with fantasy rpgs like Skyrim and Diablo, to name a few, there are really a plethora of ideas I have that would fit into the Antreya world perfectly.

And we also get to start writing the second part of the game, which will lead to the second Antreya novel. We are working hard to ensure that this will be a spectacular experience for everyone. And you can get involved with the small community we have going where we talk to our followers about the game and share images of the weapons and cities we are developing.
