[REVIEW GAME] Assassin’s Creed III: Templar And American Revolutionary War!
Assassin's Creed III which is the 5th game in the Assassin's Creed series, continues Desmond Miles et al's story in its efforts to save the earth from Solar Maximum, for which he left for the First Civilization temple to activate the planet's protective device. Unfortunately the location of the key to the temple is unknown, so Desmond is forced to return to the Animus to find out his key existence by returning to the 18th Century as his ancestor Connor Kenway who once acquired the key.
The uniqueness of Assassin Creed also emerged from the concept of "memory journey" through the Animus that allowed Ubisoft to create the path of history they wanted. After featuring the last four series that make Altair and Ezio the main character, Assassin's Creed III, which has been positioned as a series of conclusions for the story of Desmond finally brought gamers to new worlds, new characters, and new experiences. No longer frozen in the European Renaissance, you are now brought to the brutal and bloody American revolutionary war. You will play a new character, half British - Indian. Nature will now be a friend, and the hidden blade will continue to function as your "gateway" to achieve the revolution that the Assassin has long desired.
For those of you who have been listening to our previous previews would already have a little picture of what is offered by Assassin's Creed III. So how the overall performance of this latest series? Why do we call it a cover of a sweet era? This review will peel it deeper for you.
Assassin's Creed III bridges the crossing between the future and the past through a tool called Animus. For Story, we will present Desmond Miles future, whose story may be difficult to understand for the layman of Assassin's Creed franchise. Actually this is the core story of Assassin's Creed, but this future segment is pretty ignore because it's so interesting. Much more interesting segments of the past, where we play as Connor Kenway who is half Indian, half English. The history of the world becomes a playground for an Assassin hunting prey. Therefore, the Forrest Gump effect appears (which has already seen Forrest Gump must have understood) where reality and fiction are connected. History says that Nicholas Biddle died because his ship suddenly exploded, was not it! Actually Connor Kenway who blew up, in Battle of Bunker Hill John Pitcairn was shot, no! Actually the Connor Kenway who killed him, Paul Revere valiantly crossed the line of British troops alone by riding a horse instead! in fact Paul Revere was only ridden by Connor Kenway. That is, the Forrest Gump effect. But that disappoints the American Revolution thrown at the promo just be background, because this game focuses on something else.
Although called the game Open-World, Ubisoft forces gamers to play linear for 4-5 hours-an, yes, use another hero anyway. A totally different dude! (strangely this guy is more likable than Connor himself) To build a plot and make a tension. It should be said this is a very crappy way to start a Sandbox game. But I must admit that this approach works because the Gokil Twist Plot early in the beginning. So gamer patiently wrote the main 4 chapter early .. it's totally worth it.
The Characters are not memorable enough, Our hero Connor Kenway has no personality, the Antagonist is more interesting, even Connor's paralyzed teacher is more interesting than him. But maybe the theme that Assassin's Creed III wants to get is Vengeance, revenge has become a very mainstream plot, but it works! alright! besides the theme of Father-Son Relationship. (SPOILER) Difficulty Connor got a father figure as a child, reflected in his hard relationship with his mentor Achilles Davenport, with awkward relationship with his biological father Haytham Kenway. (SPOILER)
Ending .... not a spoiler hell but yah .... too EPIC is said to be ugly, and too ABSURD is spelled good.
Assassin's Creed III is a history Sandbox game filled with creative content, so much of the existing content, we are so confused and bored, so much content that we do not use because it is less relevant. Ah there is a minigame poker (for what? In facebook also can), we can buy the same trap bait etc to catch animals (for what? Bear the same wolves can cave pake piso ko) Village must be prosperous let there income money (for what? steal aja treasure dapet fast money) There are underground tunnels to quickly move the location (for what? is there a Fast Travel system) We can recruit other Assassin (for what? alone too cave ko!) Ubisoft is making good content, but because most, gamers will prefer a simple way. why bother if it can be more simple?
GRAPHIC
In terms of Graphics, it looks like Ubisoft is too ambitious. Because Anvil feels less able to compete, Ubisoft decided to create a new Engine "AnvilNext" that rival even may exceed the game engine mumpuni current generation such as Rage (Grand Theft Auto IV, Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne 3), CryEngine (Far Cry, Crysis) Unreal Engine (Gears of War, Mass Effect) to Fox Engine (Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Rising). The AnvilNext engine is spectacular, can render up to 1,000 characters in a single frame, can cause dynamic weather, can create realistic forests and seas. But the greatness of this game engine itself is the destruction. Because it's too revolutionary, the current generation consoles (Xbox 360 & PS3) can not run. As a result, there was slow rendering and a glitch or bug. here's a sample bug and glitch in Assassin's Creed III:
GAMEPLAY
In terms of gameplay, Assassin's Creed III overhauls the control scheme of Assassin's Creed series, minimizes HUD, and changes the way free-running by adding tree climbing. I have to say, Free Running in Assassin's Creed III is made more simple by pressing one button only. Freerunning here is less fun, because it is more of a compulsion than a pleasure, if winter snow piled up, slowing down the movement, forced freerunning in the trees, setting the colonial city wide is also less likely to free running in the city of Boston or New York. Combat is too easy, Connor can fight against 50 men alone, Kill Animation is cool, but because combat is easy and fighting frequency than sneaking makes Assassin's Creed III like no Assassin's Creed game. Actually Connor is an Assassin or Warrior anyway ?! the foundations made by Assassin's Creed were first abandoned by ubisoft. but that's what has become the hallmark of Assassin's Creed series.
4 Ways to make Assassin's Creed III Better
1. No More Viewpoints.
One thing ubisoft has not learned in making the game Assassin's Creed is the saturation of the gamers with the name Viewpoints. Maybe for the cave, told the high man to let me explain the map is a useful thing, take the example of Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, and Saints Row. Their map is clear from the beginning, the game game is more fun right?
2. Combat.
Ubisoft has to redesign the combat system of Assassin's Creed, because the Assassin's Creed combat System series is out of the question. abil Example Rocksteady Studios with their Arkham Asylum. Revolutionary Combat Arkham Asylum has become a benchmark combat system throughout gaming. Uncharted also has redesigned its combat system, Indeed AC3 also already meredesain combatnya. But for games that rely on Melee as a powerful weapon, AC3 was disappointing.
3. Romance
Sandbox game without romance is the same as a non-salt vegetable, Assassin's Creed is Altair & Maria, Assassin's Creed II-Revelations is Ezio with ladies, Assassin's Creed III no romantic subplot.
4. Jesper Kyd
Every game or movie success must have a composer that can make Theme Song memorable. When filming, we talk John Williams with Star Wars, and Jurassic Park. Hans Zimmer with Pirates of the Caribbean and The Dark Knight trilogy. When talking Game, there is Jeremy Soule with The Elder Scrolls franchise, Harry Gregson Williams with Metal Gear Solid series, and also Jesper Kyd with Assassin's Creed II. Sountrack that he made in AC2 is really iconic, and for the cave is already a theme song Assassin's Creed franchise. The music made by Lorne Balfe for this AC3 is not as great as Jesper Kyd. Bring back Jesper Kyd!
Compared to the earlier Assassin's Creed, the character movements during the fight on Assassin's Creed III became very varied and cool. Although this game has provided features and a very interesting storyline, the developers still provide Donwnloadable Content (DLC) that will mebuat increasingly challenging games such as Uplay Content, The Hidden Secrets Pack, The Tyranny of King Washington and others. Almost all the DLCs are available for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC.
long story short... we play games because it's fun. Assassin's Creed III is not really fun.
that's it for me. now for the verdict.
