Welcome to my first post ever released on steemit! 

The Game

You begin in the early medieval ages, wait no! You can choose at which 'historic' date you begin, starting from 756 AD until 1440 AD. 

The game's map stretches from the cold Scandinavian countries to exotic India.

You start in a war tormented Europe, devided between: counts, dukes, kings and emperors. 

Pick a county or country you want to play as and start conquering Europe!

Dynasties

This isn't a game where you can "win". You can do everything you want! But the main core element of the game is Dynasties. 

A dynasty is basically your 'family' and you have to take care of them, before they conspire to kill you and claim their right on your throne!

My biggest disappointment in the game (little storytime)

I started as a small county in the southern part of Ireland. I fought generations long to finally become King of Ireland. During my full conquest of Brittania I get this weird pop-up... An exotic civilization is setting sail for europe...

Suddenly the Aztecs landed near my capital city and started The Great Aztec War. It wasn't long before I lost it... All my hours of work shredded before me.. I had to start over just to take my revenge on the Aztecs. And that day wil come.. sooner or later..

DLC policy

Paradox Interactive is known for tons of great games but sadly also for their poor dlc policies. There are litteraly 27 dlc pack's (yes, I counted them!) 

Of course some DLC's bring game changing elements, but its not acceptable that you have to pay to customize your character!

In all honesty, I hate Paradox for it but I'll still buy every DLC they throw at me. I'm just to addicted to Medieval Europe. 

What I have been doing in game

I have been playing some nice multiplayer games together with my friends. We use a mod 'shattered world', basically this means that there are no kingdoms yet and you have a full playground to rise your empire. 

I now created the Kingdom of Bavaria and on my way to rule over the world!

Why you need to play this game!

Simple.

If you love strategies this is a must in your steam library.
If you don't like strategies you shouldn't buy this. Unless of course the gameplay intrigues you.

Be ready, conquer Europe and battle in Crusades.
