GOD OF WAR

God of war 4 is an upcoming third person action-adventure video games,as we all know God of war(chain of olympus) was lit but the ps2 days are behind us now
now we roll with playstation 4,the game development by santa monica studio and to be publishied by sonyinteractive entertainment (SIE),it's planned to be released April 20
2018 for playstation 4 console and this is the eighth installment in God of war series since the God of war III 2010 but there's one major change in this game which is kratos can no longer use his double chained blades,instead his uses a magical battle axe called leviathan axe which can be combined with different elemental abilities.

KRATOS NEW WEAPON

GAMEPLAY
kartos is back,old,less rage and with his son Atreus in other for Kratos to be a better father and a good mentor he has to control the rage that has driven him for many years,
kartos and atreus battling with trolls,his son can assist him in combat such as firing lighting arrows and respond to karatos commands,based on the orientation of the camera
The game features elements similar to the role playing game,such as archery knowledge points,as well as karatos spartan rage timed ability during battle,there are also resources for the player to find to allow upgrade the character(karatos)
you can create new armor or upgrade existing ones,there's a item called Hacksilver it's a chest key to create new items Experience points are also required for upgrades and shopping for mew items
although the game is played entirely by karatos,there are times where can control atreus,on e button is dedicated to atreus and its use depends on the context.for example if the player needs assistance,they can look at an enemy,press the button,and atreus will use his bow to shoot arrow causing a little damage and giving karatos an opening to attack the enemy

SETTING
we all know GOW story was based on @greek mythology but now based on @norse mythology Brolog explained the transition:it's kind of BC-AD change over kind of thing,Egyptian mythology was also considered but since there a lot more about civilization and less isolated they wanted to stay focus on kratos,having too much around distract form that central theme of a stranger in strange land
i hope that explain why they choose Norse world,different belief and culture system coexisted,but they were Sparated by geography suggesting that kratos traveled form Greece to Norway after the conclusion of God of war III.
the game also say bout the vikings,it their time were their gods walked on earth,so players will be able to visit some of the nine realms of Norse.

PLOT
many years have passed since karatos fought and defeated the olympian gods,having survived his final encounter with zeus,kratos now lives with in Norse with his son in the land of Norse gods,a savage land inhabited by many non good and ferocious monster and worriors,in other to be a good example and to teach his son how to survive kratos have to learn how to control the rage that has driven him for many years and accept his role as a father and as a mentor
karatos must contend with the gods as they talk trash about him,cos the know what he is capable of and they are aware that he single Handedly brought down
olympus by himself,spending time with his father,atreus learns more about kratos past,he is left with option either to be like his father or be his own man
