Top 5 Sandbox Games

So as some people like sandbox games, as do I, I thought I'd do a top 5. Please note these are just my opinion and that's where it stops, they are also not in any particular order, just 5 in general.

1. Kerbal Space Program
   Kerbal Space Program (KSP) is one of those gems that not everybody knows about. It's a sandbox based space exploration game in which players can choose many different game modes, such as, Career, Science mode and of course, sandbox. Though not easy, and requires decent knowledge beforehand, this game is certainly fun and enjoyable once you've learnt the ropes. Not to mention the sense of achievement that nearly all players find throughout the game.

2. Mount & Blade Warband
   
   Mount & Blade (M&B as it's called sometimes) is an extremely enjoyable game in which players create their own characters and bascially do anything you want. M&B offers it's players an insaine amount of choice from customizing their character, choosingng the backstory or just doing whatever you want in general. Players can often start with nothing and become something, whether that'll be from hiring mercenaries and fighting your way to the top or simply by joining one of the many factions in the game. The game is really what you make of it.

3. Arma 3
   
   Arma 3 is a military simulator/sandbox game, that literally allows it's players to do whatever their mind can imagine. The vanilla game is based around 3 main factions, these are NATO which is self explanatory, CSAT which is an alliance of eastern nations such as Iran and China and finally the AAF, which is meant to represent the armed forces of Altis and Stratis (The original 2 maps in the game) Whilst based in the 2030s, the weapons, vehicles and objects found in the game are copies of those found in real life, both in-service or just prototypes. An added bonus is the openness of the game to modders, users can find nearly any mod they can dream of, ranging from British Forces, Aircraft carriers, Jets, weapons, equipment, sound mods, radio systems and all the rest! Arma really is a game built around the community.

4. Grand Theft Auto Five
   
   Grand theft auto V or GTAV as it's mainly called is one of the best selling games of all times, having sold over 80,000,000 copies on all the platforms it can found on. The single-player game revolves around 3 different protagonists as they perform multiple heists and other crimes to get to the top. The story is very rich in its detail and excitement, as does the game it general. As the GTA series is known for it's open-world sandbox stance, GTAV is a prime example of this. Players can enjoy activities such as Golf, tennis, racing, car customization, character customization, own businesses and do plenty of side missions. The game really is what you make it. However, whilst popular the Multiplayer is, it's plauged with hackers (Mainly on the PC version). which not only makes the experience less enjoyable but also ruins it for most people.

5. Minecraft
   Love it or hate it, Minecraft certainly deserves a spot on this list. Minecraft was originally created as a sort of test project by Markus Persson (a.k.a 'Notch'). The game rapidly grew as the game became more and more. The game revolves around users on both singleplayer and multiplayer doing whatever they please, whether that be playing survive mode, creative, adventure or playing 3rd party created mini-games. There's something for everyone to do in Minecraft, which is why it's the 2nd most sold game in history; 2nd to only, Tertis.
