Chatting with the pros. A unique experience.

Over the last couple days I was able to chat with two of the best Overwatch esports players in the US. Not an uncommon thing as I do this all the time but a very unique experience not really available with any other pro sport.

Two days ago I was watching Agilities twitch stream. Agilities plays for Immortals and is easily top 5 best Gengi players in NA. There were about 450 people watching and candidly interacting with Agilities. We were asking him questions about the game and other things. He was so kind and willing to interact with his fans.

Today I was chatting with Grimmreality, also of Immortals and equally a top 5 hitscan player in NA. There were about 250 watching him and he was replying to chat questions as often as he could while playing. For those of you who watched the finals match in Contenders I was even able to ask him about the very strange strat they tried in the beginning of the Hollywood game. I bring all of this up because it truly is a unique and fun thing to be able to do. Imagine being able to chat with players of other pro sports. I am confident as esports becomes more and more main stream this will fade away but while these players are still there to chat and hang out with I will be there too.

If you are a fan of esports and have a favorite player or two, go to their streams and chat with them. You might not always have the chance in the future.
