RE: WORLDS | An eSport History

in #gaming6 years ago

I'm telling you from the start, I'm not a gamer but looks like I'm gonna be. There are so many game enthusiasts here on Steeemit, I ran into one or two gaming posts every day.
I've heard about this event but had no idea it's so huge and popular.

I don't know what they were doing, these guys are nerds, how are they gonna lift that shit?

Hahaha, this is funny but true :D I can't imagine how many hours these guys are spending gaming!
Anyway, this post is eye opener for me, now I know more about this event and maybe I'll start gaming, who knows? :)

Sort:

Most League Pro Players (at least in Korea) practice around 12 and 14 hours a day, that's just crazy I guess no other sports player practice that amount of time

If you don't start gaming I can always recommend at least watching this event, it starts the 1st of October and will be streamed on Twich and Youtube, I'll guarantee it will be something you won't forget

And this time is in Korea once again so maybe we'll witness something like this... or not...

14 hours of gaming can lead to serious health issues on the long term.
I'm gonna watch some for sure, thanks for the suggestion! :)

Absolutely, that's why most of Pro Players engage in outside activities in their free time like exercising, art, and other stuff, otherwise their bodies would make them pay harshly

There are rehab programs for gamers if I'm not mistaken.

You're right, there are, this is a whole industry after-all
