THE BANNER SAGA 3

Closing the RPG trilogy from the Stoic workshop is finally here. Our favorite heroes finally tell us how they hit the Nordic saga and save the world. The lost Sun must still be found. After all, it's our players.
The pleasant and romantic atmosphere disappears in the bowels, the hope for rescue is scarce. In many moments, the blood in our veins is frozen. One caravan arrived in the capital of Arberrang to be protected from the darkness coming. The second group you control is led by mystical Juno. He knows right into the bosom of the earth to defeat the darkness in the bush. I will not tell very much when I mention that the mysterious snake can disappear behind the sun and the demonic mass of enemies.
As I have already indicated, it is going to be stiff. It is manifested by the general stress between the characters and the increased difficulty in the fights. The first group, which finds itself in the city, is still addressing human relationships and politics - who to put into town management, various minor quarrels, and situations of common life. It should be remembered that people cooperate with horned Varla and centaurs only by necessity. It is more important to defeat the enemy, which becomes more and more obvious the darkness. It flies alive and makes them their fighters.
Much more enjoyable were dialogues and focus on the lesser group that went into the earth's gut. Here are really important issues and situations. I have long dragged the party into conflict and into a pre-fought battle only by wanting to satisfy my curiosity. What happens if I ring for this ring? It became a completely unnecessary fight that I could not handle and followed the loading of the saved position. On the fate of the heroes and planets, I cared very much in this saga and I tried to play so that they were not dissatisfied.
Closure of the trilogy is in a similar spirit to the previous games, again is rendered by almost static images and a large number of dialogues and decisions. You have the opportunity to manage the heroes - to improve them, to heal them, to give them a chosen and hard-to-get artefact, and the like. It is important to keep the dialogues responsibly. It depends on every decision. But the greatest joy is the thrust fights. Those will be much more than the previous games, the places I felt they were at every step. Some could be avoided, others did not. If you play in a fight, the story continues, the game is not over. So it is up to you whether you decide to load the saved position or continue the situation.
There were a few novels in the combat system. The most visible is the ability to continue after the success of a duel or to run away. During this election, you can replace fighters and have a greater chance of winning. It should also be borne in mind that the harder opponent in the form of a boss who unexpectedly turns his hero into a neck can unexpectedly appear. If the game is too heavy for you, you can reduce the difficulty while playing. This is the opposite. Much more is done here from dynamic environments and subjects. You can hide behind breakable obstacles or use some to destroy the enemy. Dangerous have become fires that have spread throughout our struggle towards our heroes.
When walking underground, you will encounter more often when it is appropriate to beat enemies as quickly as possible. If you do not manage to destroy them in time, another will be added, and that will be some death. While in The Banner Saga 2 I was simply reading the contest, I have another opinion in this work. Underground, you have the option of using a special "divine" attack, and the lightning that takes the opponent's life, and if they are placed multiple, they also take that, but, unfortunately, you also need to use this ability.
The combat system did not otherwise see any major changes. You are still moving on a chessboard with six heroes representing all the characters. For units of adversaries, it is advisable to focus on their shields and then on their own lives. Your heroes alternate with enemies even in weakness - for example when there are only two and six opponents.
Graphic processing is still at the same level. Surprise from the first part is no longer done and similar games are getting more and more. But it still has a style, and some animations have caught me. The musical accompaniment has expanded its scope and melodies have been getting under the skin more and more. It may be worth mentioning that even more frequent dubbed parts appeared. This is because it is the end of the trilogy and so many important storylines have taken place.
Closing the trilogy may have been a bit more spectacular, and I still felt that the heroes did not realize the threat they were waiting for. On the other hand, the game continues in a pleasant continuity, although it brings little change. Whoever plays all of The Banner Saga at once will certainly have a more complete experience. Especially because he remembers all the events and will not be confused about what has happened. Although the game offers an auspicious recapitulation, it is not enough. Anyway, it is a dignified conclusion of the Nordic saga.
