Batman Arkham Knight : Night Full Of Terror #REVIEW NO.26
Like the previous Arkham series, Batman in the Arkham Knight face a major conflict that threatens Gotham and must be settled that same night. This time, terror comes from two main antagonists, namely Arkham Knight and Scarecrow. Scarecrow is one of Batman's enemies quite popular. He appeared in Batman: Arkham Asylum and the prophecies about his presence at Arkham Knight have been described in an easter egg in Arkham City. As for the character of Arkham Knight itself, this mysterious knight is an original character made by Rocksteady whose identity becomes part of the main mystery in the game.
Scarecrow is the main antagonist character in this game, it is not surprising that the nightmares and the surrealism journey become one of the things you will often find in Arkham Knight. Rocksteady is truly successful in presenting an extraordinary surreal experience that will make you confused and amazed at the same time.
How to tell a story that is unique and cool indeed the main selling points in this game. Unfortunately I can not discuss this part further because it will reduce the quality of your playing experience. But clearly, if you are a fan of high quality narration, Batman: Arkham Knight is an experience that should not be missed. Absolutely not.
Speaking of superheroes like Batman certainly can not be far from discussing about the fistfight. Arkham series is quite popular as part of the fight game with a very nice, and it was further enhanced in Arkham Knight. Batman has a principle not to kill his enemy, so you can not expect there to be too dangerous weapons here. However, you may find it quite strange to see a fired bullet is not dangerous or explosive Batmobile light that belongs to the Knights of the Night.
The fight at Arkham Knight demands precision and intelligence. Almost all of the fighting here involves Batman's actions that have been beaten up by many people. While pressing the button to attack, you also need to be alert ready press the counter button or issuing a sophisticated device with instant Batman to disrupt the opponent's movement heartbeat.
Unfortunately, unlike that allow Batman Arkham Asylum to act secretly and made the whole enemy fears, Batman: Arkham Knight emphasizes battle crowded and chaotic. You can try to sneak around to eliminate the enemies, but it will be very, very hard to do here.
In addition, Batman: Arkham Knight also introduces side characters that you can use to fight for a moment like Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman, and Azrael. Unfortunately, in contrast to a large portion of the alternative character like that of Catwoman in Arkham City, the characters above you can only play when fighting in certain rooms.
When fighting with them, you can also activate something called Dual Takedown. Basically, Dual Takedown is just an animation to kill off a cool enemy as well as a method to exchange characters that you control during a fight. Why should this matter be discussed? Very simple, because the Dual Takedown looks very, very cool!
Batman: Arkham Knight presents a larger world than the three previous Arkham series games. This makes Batman require new transportation methods in addition to cool wings and sophisticated devices. Attend Batmobile to overcome or add to Bruce Wayne's transportation problems while wearing Batman masks.
Controlling the Batmobile makes this game feel like playing a GTA game. Do not expect you to immediately master the Batmobile well, guaranteed to be lots of thugs in the street bouncing or objects of the environment damaged by Batman when in action. Initially I felt Batmobile is an annoying thing. But the farther I play Arkham Knight, this super-sophisticated tank becomes more exciting to drive, while still retaining its annoying elements.
One of the most famous things of Batman is the ranks of a qualified enemy. Gotham's hero has a collection of enemies psychopathic characteristics and advantages that are very interesting. Unfortunately it is not used quite well in Arkham Knight. For example like one of the surprising enemy at the end of the game is very expert in close range fighting. Rocksteady does not make a great melee combat, here you just have to play hide and seek using your tank to beat it.
All this is getting worse with The Riddler whose challenge becomes more annoying than in Batman before. By using the name "puzzle", he even challenged Batman to take action racing in a track that reminds me of Mario Kart, but more extreme and stupid. Not to mention The Riddler has a bunch of annoying missions where you have to collect 243 Riddler Trophy scattered all over Gotham. If you do not collect everything, do not expect you to get the original ending of Batman game: Arkham Knight.
If for the graphics business, I think Batman: Arkham Knight no doubt the quality. This game is arguably one of the most beautiful graphics game that I played this year. It's just The Order: 1886 alone that can beat the visual quality of this game from a technical point of view.
In addition to stunning graphics thanks to advanced technology, Arkham Knight also has excellent visual leads. This game is capable of displaying Batman's futuristic technology, Gotham city in chaos, as well as various scenes of realism so well. The combination of graphic art in terms of technical and makes Batman: Arkham Knight into a game that is very spoil our eyes.
Batman: Arkham Knight actually performs his duties very well. You are still involved in Batman battles that you've known, and the intriguing main story full of a surprising and interesting plot twist at the same time. Not only that, the system is very interesting in the first two series are also refined in this last series, through a new variation of Takedown, a combination of gadget attacks, and Batman skills that now feels more veteran. The vast world, full of details, and trapping you as part of a wider world also makes Gotham so fascinating. The real basic combination, it has confirmed Arkham Knight as an action game that is above average.
Batman: Arkham Knight could be one of the best games released in 2015. Although it has some shortcomings on the fight against the bosses of The Riddler who sucks from all sides, and the quality of a messy PC port, still can not be denied that Batman: Arkham Knight is a phenomenal game. It's not hard to give anyone a recommendation to play this game.
