Quake 2 Raytraced is coming June 6th

Having installed a fresh nvidia driver today I also read and saw the Quake 2 news regarding the raytraced version coming out on June 6th. If you don't have the game, you will be able to play the first three levels for free. If you own a copy of Quake 2, you can play the whole campaign and the multiplayer.
I know I have Quake 2 somewhere but can't find it, so I bought a copy for 2,79€ on g2a. I assume the price might climb a little in the upcoming days following the Quake 2 RayTraced Release. I only have a 1070, but I hope to get at least 90fps on high. Playing the Battlefield 5 campaign on medium raytracing gave me around 50-60 fps, but of course it always depends on what is raytraced. Battlefield only seems to raytrace reflections while Quake 2 will also implement natural Illumination.

Quake 2 does not seem like much and some will say it's old and blocky looking. Yea, it is! But imagine refreshing the excitement when you finally got to play one of your favorite games and be able to reexperience them soon in a new shine.
