I don't think video games are necessarily bad. As a kid we don't have the opportunity or ability to go and explore the world so we get to immerse ourselves in this imaginary one with rewards for completing certain task and open our way of thinking. I think as we get older our freedom allows us to see first hand what is out there in the real world so virtual becomes less interesting?
