Gaming Retrospective - Warhammer 40000: Space Marine

in #gaming7 years ago

There is nothing quite like a great Warhammer40k game, Space Marine can certainly take that title because the game captured the core of what Warhammer 40k game should look and feel like. Game is played from a third person perspective and it is heavily action based. Game was released in 2011 and was developed by Relic Entertainment. In Space Marine players take the role of an Ultramarine chapter captain Titus, a veteran of many battles that was sent to the Forge World of Graia to stop the ork invasion. Just like in almost any Wh40k game the ork invasion is just a start of something more sinister that will happen and Titus will have to get his hands dirty to stop all that Chaos.

In this game you can expect to see many tabletop gaming models in action, something any fan of WH40k miniatures  loves to see. Captain Titus can use a lot of specialized Space Marine ranged and melee weapons and kill hordes of orks very efficiently. Titus can also generate fury and then perform very deadly moves. The core of every Space Marine game is a squad and Titus will be accompanied by his fateful Ultramarine brothers. If you like this game there is also a free to play game Eternal Crusade with very similar third person perspective play style, but this one is more multiplayer and team play orientated. I think it is great to recommend both games, Space Marine if you like singleplayer and Eternal Crusade if you like multiplayer games. Take your pick and enjoy.
