Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem Preview
If you're looking for a new promising ARPG you might take a look at Wolcen. Wolcen is in it's early access phase on Steam where you can try out the game early. The game is in development phase for two years already and it looks and feels mostly finished. Previously the game was called Umbra, but the devs changed the name to Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem. I guess not everything was smooth during the development phase. This is by far the best looking ARPG on the market because it is powered by the Crytek Engine, yes the Crysis engine in an ARPG, and as you can see it looks really nice.
As far as game mechanics go there are no classes to pick from, you can create a character and customize his looks and skills. You can do the skill customization with the old school skill books you can find in the game's world, if you played original Diablo you will be perfectly familiar with this system. You can later further customize those skills with the runes, a system from Diablo 3, for example a fireball can be customized by faster casting, cooldown reduction or multi projectile. Game also has a huge passive skill tree that can even measure with the Path of Exile one, so you can see that this game used a lot of systems from other successful ARPG's. With the great graphics and good itemization this game might end up great once it finally launches later this year.
That is one beautiful passive skill tree I must say!
I'm curious to see the Crytek engine applied to a ARPG. I hope it won't be excessively heavy. I do love the concepts behind the skill tree though, I'll definitely be playing this one once it hits its full release stage (I'm not a big fan of early release).

Graphics quality is amazing these days. Very good shading code, I don't think thats a lightmap. It reminds me of the Diablo games.
