Epic games store adds free games to their game collections

Epic games store not planning to be another alternative but rather a total control of the market, do you think it’s possible?

Do you think it will be able to rival the likes of steam, say a year from now or two and what is the possibility that they plan to stay for a very long time, not just the promises we have seen so far?

Hi guys and welcome to another beautiful day, it’s already 26th of Dec 2018 and the Christmas was a blast, with friends and families visiting and also having to share some love, no matter how small it was, I believe it was received well.

Well, that’s for that.

Few days or weeks back made a post about epic games joining the game store platforms and man they truly have a lot of package coming in for gamers.

I made reference to a game developed by this team epic games, which is none other than Fortnite and how the game became very popular after it was introduced to the public, and still popular till now, in terms of rivalry, I might consider it somewhat up to the likes of pubg player unknown background, and the team in charge of Fortnite, I doubt they are ready to draw the curtains for the game anytime soon.

Yea with the never-ending update and introduction of new contents, epic games have developed ways of keeping their users active, joining the gaming store platform, I wonder if same will be said about them in coming times.

Without wasting much time, it seems the epic games plan on going out big these last few days in 2018, with the introduction of features that will surely bring gamers to their platform.

We seen developers give out games made by them for free or trial and also in-game purchase do apply on those games to better generate certain fund back, but I wonder if game stores went as far to provide games for their customers for free, yea free.

Epic store with the adventure of getting more potential buyers in the future, plan on dropping free games on their store for limited time period, meaning users will be able to download and play these games via their platform for free during a selected time frame, one of the best ways to generate more users I guess.

Also, last post we saw about them, we talked about how they planned on delivery more and better offer to game developers, meaning developers who planned on selling games via their platform will be giving better deal and higher return percentage for every game sold via their platform, it seems before now, they always considered developers and how much work they put into developing games only to get little or less return percentage from game stores were such games are hosted.

But Epic planned on changing that and with the offer been shown, am pretty sure, a lot of developers would in no time decide to host or sell their games via the epic store platform, meaning more returns for them and when such is achieve, we might just begin to see games been sold for a lower price as to compared to before now.

With that, more games to play and higher purchases be made.

Speaking of Epic delivery free games, it seems the first game showed that will be provided for free of charge to be downloaded via their platform is Subnautica.

Well am not too familiar with that game, but from the little review I seen about the game, it looks kind of cool and also fun to play for a solo base game.

If you the type that usually considers the price of games and determines if the game will be worth buying or not, meaning you place quality to games base on their price tag,

Well, it would interest you to know that the game Subnautica is actually been sold for $20+ and Epic games made the game available for free of charge without any cost but for a limited period of time.

It seems they actually mean business, when they said, some games will be made available for free of charge during a particular period of time, and they don’t plan on putting or dropping just any game that would probably be within the price range of $2 to $5, but rather they plan on offering the best to that users.

They are already popular with the game Fortnite and most gamers already aware of them, the only thing would be to build trust and make gamers patronize them, without the fear of them losing their money during the process, well I think with the above, offering of free games every once in a while, is sure to keep users checking their platform and also might lead to them actually making purchases via them.

We saw them made a good job of Fortnite, we can only wish and hope the same zeal and motive is put into this store and we should expect to see more ways of generating buyers.
