One Piece: Grand Battle !

One Piece: Grand Battle !, is a Japanese battle video game developed by Ganbarion and published by Bandai in 2001. This is the first game in the One Piece series: Grand Battle! and a second game based on One Piece's own manga and anime.

Plot

A boy named Monkey D. Luffy continues his journey to become a pirate king. During his journey he fought many enemies and gradually collected his own pirate crew. This game is based on the Eastern blue island and Whiskey Peak in One Piece Anime

Gameplay

This gameplay involves two characters fighting each other in the 3D arena, with items and obstacles that have been provided in the game. Items can players use to help defeat enemy characters and obstacles just block the characters. In story mode, once the player has defeated enough enemies, the boss will appear. The story mode is completed when the boss is defeated.

A. Event Mode

This mode lets you play through stories for your character. Only 5 Hero character available when first entering this mode. A gold
the crown will appear on top of every character that you have won the game, This mode is where you will unlock criminals and secret characters.

B. Grand Battle

Think of this mode as a versus mode. You can choose 1P vs 2P, 1P vs Computers, and Computers vs. 2P. Everyone to choose from in Event
Mode can also be selected in Grand Battle mode. However, the character villain is available without opening it only in this mode.

Graphic

For the graphics, this game is very stunning in its time, because in other games there is no 3D-based game, and in the previous game series One Piece also still use black and white screen, so a very significant development is made by Bandai for one-piece game series : Grand battle!

Conclusion

In the One Piece game series: Grand battle !, Bandai do a lot of changes ranging from gameplay that carries the Battle game and also the addition of new characters such as Miss Wednesday and also pandaman, in terms of graphics are also greatly improved away from the previous One Piece game series that is, One piece : become the Pirate king which only use black and white screen only.
