TF2 Weapon of the Week: The Degreaser

I'm sorry that I forgot that Yesterday was Supposed to be Weapon of the Week To make up for it here is a Really Popular Weapon, and In my own Opinion, the most Overused of Pyro's Primaries. The Degreaser

The Degreaser is a Primary Weapon for the Pyro, It Basically gives Pyro a Faster Switch speed between the Degreaser and his other Equipped weapons at the Cost of some Damage and a Little bit of Airblasts.

Now what if I told you the Downsides are not that bad?

The 66% afterburn Penalty only really effects Damage over time with the afterburn Status. it does not effect the damaging particles of the Flamethrower, and since afterburn is really not that bad this downside does not really mean much.

And the 25% more airblast cost, it sounds like a lot but it's really not, Airblasting with Sock costs 20 Ammo, and 25% of that literally means it costs 5 more ammo, at Full ammo this downside only really gives you 2 less airblasts, which is not much Since Enemies drop a Medium ammo pack when they die, which gives the flamethrower 100 More ammo, which is 4 more Airblasts with the Degreaser, and 5 more for Stock.

But what about the Upsides? Personally they are not much either, the Upsides are only really used for Combos with Flares, but because of the Changes to the Airblast in Jungle Inferno the Combo Strat was Nerfed a bit it's now Harder to Pull off Combos, to the point where it's faster to just shoot people with the Shotgun(Since it can kill Light classes in 2 Well Aimed shots), or just W+M1(Saying that left a Bad Taste in my mouth).

Now for Recommended weapons.

Secondaries are tough, the Switch speed can help mitigate the downside of the Thermal Thruster, Assist the Already Fast Switch speed of the Reserve shooter, or you can go Flares if you still want to combo.

As for Melees...Literally every Melee is Benefited from the Degreaser so yea, pick your favorite Depending on what role you want to be. Are you a Flanker? use Back Scratcher or Powerjack, Being a Support? go Homewrecker or Neon.
