Far cry is an first person shooter and action-adventure set in an open environment where player can explore and move freely on foot or transport
unlike the previous titles in the series where the player takes on role of a set charater,you can also customize and equipe you self with guns of your choice(if you have cash)
you can also change your appearance
the game also have old aiming feature system,player gets variety of ranged and explosives to fight enemies also close quarters combat compared to previous Far Cry
in this player gets drop in a world with little direction or objective marker,context and weapon to navigate the world on thier own with a desire to create wht he calls the "anecdote factoery"
a game where two players can venture in opposite direction and have completely different experiences that they would then share with one another anecdotally
the game respond to player actions;for example,by eliminating cult influence civilians will move back and player can provide additional support or make other civilians more sympathetic to player character's cause

player also tame wild animals(love this tec) using "Fangs for higher" system previously introduced in Far cry primal.the tamed animal will assist the player in combat and follow the player's orders.different animal will have different combat patterns
a fishing mechanic has also been introduced and a variety of fishes can be caught.The campaign can be played individualy or with friends this mode is called "Friends for hire" the game will also feature a map editor,whose feature have been expanded from previous titles
