My garden last year.
Last year was the first year I focused on growing so many variations of flowers in my garden. It turned out to be the part that brought the most joy. While one might think that the flowers are the least useful plants in the garden, it does not surprise me I got so much enjoyment out of them. After all, I am a visual person. I love bright, vibrant colors not only in my artwork but also in my surrounding environment.
And the colors they brought! They looked like sophisticated, ever-changing paintings to my eyes! So, despite risking seeming like an absolute weirdo to the new neighbors, I spent a lot of time trying to capture their fragile, evolving beauty with my camera whenever I had the opportunity. Especially, since one moment they are there, happily reaching towards the sun, and the next they fade away, wilt, and fall on the ground as the cycle of life demands.
