Hibiscus flower is bright red in colour
It is known not only for its beauty but also for its religious, medicinal, and scientific significance. It is also known as 'Javakusum'. Let's learn more about this magnificent flower. It has five large petals. A long tube called the 'stamen' emerges from the center, at the end of which are yellow pollen grains. Its leaves are dark green and serrated at the edges. This plant is shrub-like and blooms year-round.
Care and Gardening
Growing a hibiscus plant is quite easy:
Sunlight: It requires 5-6 hours of direct sunlight daily.
Water: It likes moisture, but the pot should not be stagnant.
Soil: Fertile and loose soil is best for it.
An interesting fact: The hibiscus flower is also called the 'shoe flower' in many countries because in ancient times, leather shoes were polished by rubbing its flowers.
