Garden tricks #2: How to make a good organic compost

Heeey my steemit friends how are you doing? I hope you are great.

Compost is one of the most important factors when we talk about garden, it provides nutrients to the soils and improves it a lot. 100% Organic compost is the best one for this, I'm pretty sure when you start using it your plants will start growing a lot!

Today I'll show you how I make my compost at home, and I need to tell you this is a little slow process, so you need to be patient.

Materials

I can't make a whole list because it could be so huge, but these ones are a reference:

• A hole in the garden, a bucket or a box to fill with the other resources
• Fruits, vegetables, wood, leaves, everything you can get from your garden or even from the forest could be used to make compost.
• Water
• A stick

Remember compost is just a mixture of descomposed organic waste, so you need to preserve the best environment for bacterium and germs, they will help you to descompose these waste.

All you need to do is cut all the organic waste you want to put in your compost, the littlest you cut them, the fastest they will become into compost, then you just drop them in the hole, bucket or box.

Twice or three times per week you need to stir this mixture with a stick and water it a little bit to keep it wet, and If you want you can add more waste, for example I everyday add something to my compost, maybe I had bananas for breakfast and I just cut the banana peel and drop them in my garden's compost hole.

As you will see in the picture I added some banana peel, pumpkin peel, grass, some leaves, even some lettuce, everything is useful.

A trick to make compost in a faster way: Believe it or not, piss helps a lot to descompose all the waste, so If you add a mixture of 3 parts of water and 1 part of piss to your mixture once a week, It will descompose faster, I tried it and it worked very well, and don't worry about the smell, It won't smell at all, just make u sure you are not taking medicine.
