Green Thumb - Gotta keep trying

I really wish I was better at keeping plants alive. I start out so optimistic, but that optimism is fleeting as I soon realize I'm really not that great at taking care of plants. At least, indoor plants that is. Outdoor plants & gardening fruits & veggies I can do, but succulents!!? Why are they so dang hard to keep alive? Especially when they seem to be so low maintenance?? Hardly need watering, hardly need anything really. But I always manage to kill them. But here we are again, it's spring time & I'm out buying new plants to hopefully try again for another year. I've wasted so much money on plants.

Any tips for keeping indoor plants alive are most welcome. I'm going to try again & keep working at it because I really love plants, especially in my home. I love the extra bit of greenery here & there. I also love the fact that a lot of these plants help keep your air clean. I've got to find a way! Truly how hard can it be? Is it the wrong soil? Am I potting them wrong? Am I under-watering? Over-watering? How is it so difficult to keep an indoor plant alive, while the outdoor plants do so well?? So many questions...

Anyone else out there started out with a bad green thumb & turned their luck around? Tell me what I need to do!!
Thank you!

Nothing in nature is for itself. Rivers don’t drink their own water. Trees don’t eat their own fruit. Sun doesn’t give heat for itself. Flowers don’t spread fragrance for themselves. Living for others is the way of life!

Thank you for your words! :)

Hope to see more from you :) I followed you!

Thank you! :)

I have a green thumb too as I eat from my gardens. Thanks for sharing.
