RE: I Grow My Own Tobacco, No Fertilizer, No Pesticide and LOOK HOW HUGE IT IS!

You go @lyndsaybowes!

I bought 5 or 6 different kinds of tobacco seed a few years ago but never got around to planting it. You know tobacco is actually a close relative of the tomato don't you? Even though I didn't grow tobacco I did get a new pipe recently and just enough tobacco to claim a new rekindled vice.

Oooh wow, no I didn't know it was a close relative to tomato! Wowee!! Thank you for the information that's definitely interesting...I'm trying to see the link between them. Let me know if you ever end up growing, and vice ON!

Don't plant the tobacco plants anywhere near the tomato plants, they share the same diseases, and tobacco mosaic virus can infect tomato plants. The same goes for potato plants, they are related to tomato plants. Also, if you can, skip a year before you plant tomato plants where you had tobacco plants before, for the same reason. Some of the diseases stay in the ground over the winter.

Thanks very much for the solid advice @amberyooper!

You're welcome!
