Growing Garlic Shoots

IMG_0187.jpg

Grow your own garlic shoots:

  1. Peel off some of the dry skin off a clove of garlic. Leaving a layer or two of skin seems to be okay.
  2. Place clove of garlic inside water as shown above. I used three toothpicks to secure the garlic in the cup (optional.)
  3. Replace water once a day.
  4. Harvest when it is about eight inches.
  5. Place back in water to regrow garlic shoots (two-three more times?)
