yes you are right, we should explore ourself but its not only thing which we have to do in this world, we have some other responsibilities human being, should look there also, should use our tech for helping peoples and steemit really part of it.
Anything is possible in this day especially with 3d printers becoming more affordable. I know its old now but felt I'd share and article of the kid who designed and created a 3d printed functional prosthetic for people to have functionality of an arm again.
