Should I continue with the $5 amazon gift card giveaway or would my followers and fellow Steemians rather receive #Crypto currencies as prizes? Given that this is a STEEM platform, STEEM is a more logical choice. It's easier to implement and transmission is a matter of minutes at most. You don't need an email address in addition to a Steemit username.

I personally think that if you do a contest in steemit the prizes should be given depending on the currency of the platform that is being used. in this case (SBD - STEEM).
Personally I think a lot of people competing in a contest on Steemit would appreciate Steem as a prize ;)

Hello @tonymullins, in my village they say "a gift horse is not a fang to look at", we should be grateful to those present, but I think that receiving steem would be a better option for those of us who live in countries where it is more complicated to use the gift card.

I am not a friend of "amazon" at all. Stopped using it years ago when some "practices" and "activities" got exposed. Lot of my friends do like this to especially support local stores.
But I guess there is nobody around here not happy about STEEM.

Steem is a "gift of power". The receiver has no need to convert it but might use to power-up.

OK the people before me said it, and I support their point of view. Firstly the gift card is only for amazon, and secondly the crypto may be used for a variety ot things, like to grow your account in Steemit.
