I've never paid less than $300 for my glasses. My last pair had been used and abused for more than 5 years before I really couldn't see out of them because of the scratches.

So with really NO money in the budget, I heard about a site for super cheap glasses. I bought a pair on ZenniOptical and paid under $30 (including shipping) Yes, I bought the cheapest of the cheap but I CAN SEE!

The cheap frames snapped, which is nothing a little super glue couldn't fix, and I'll do it again - maybe pay for better frames next time. They're a U.S. based company so I don't feel like I'm a traitor. And all my local optometrists are working for big corp. anyway so I don't feel guilty about my online purchase. GOOD LUCK!
